Services

I provide Psychological Evaluations for the following immigration processes:

  • Asylum

  • U-Visas

  • VAWA

  • Hardship Waivers

What is a psychological evaluation? A psychological evaluation may be used prior to individual therapy and may also be used for specific legal purposes. For example, if you have an immigration, family, civil, or criminal case. A psychological evaluation is an in-depth assessment where I will ask you a lot of questions to thoroughly evaluate your mental health and mental health history. During a psychological evaluation, we will discuss mental health symptoms, mental health history, trauma history, psycho-social history, and more. You can expect a psychological evaluation to take anywhere from 2-4 hours, depending on your specific case. You can also expect to answer an intake form and screening tools prior to our meeting, such as screening tools for Anxiety, Depression, and Trauma. At this time I am providing psychological evaluations by video only via a secure video platform. Once we have our free 15 minute consultation, I will provide you with the information you need and answer questions you may have.

Cost: My fee is $850/psychological evaluation. This includes the video visit as well as the completed written evaluation report. I require a 50% deposit upon scheduling to secure your appointment.

*Please note that court testimonies are a separate fee at an hourly rate of $225 or as negotiated depending on your case. Please discuss with me if your case requires a court testimony or your lawyer may also contact me.

If unable to afford this cost, please contact me to discuss options. I offer payment plan options. Please inquire about this during your free 15 minute phone consultation. If you are ready to proceed or if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me at 408-415-1844.
